Patna: A female doctor from AIIMS was molested by three bike-riding youths while she was on her way to duty on a scooty. The incident occurred near Naya Tola, ahead of Phulwari Sharif police station, amidst a traffic jam.
The doctor filed a written complaint at the Phulwari Sharif police station, prompting an immediate investigation. SDPO Sushil Kumar confirmed the incident and stated that the police are examining CCTV footage from the area to identify the accused.
According to initial reports, the doctor confronted and scolded the youths after the incident. The police have registered a case and are conducting raids to apprehend the culprits.
Phulwari Sharif police station in-charge also confirmed that efforts are ongoing to gather evidence and trace the miscreants involved in the act. The case has raised concerns about safety and prompted calls for stricter measures to ensure the security of women on the roads.
