Patna: The highly anticipated trailer for Pushpa 2 is set to be launched at Gandhi Maidan in Patna on November 17, with South Indian superstar Allu Arjun himself attending the event. Joining him will be Rashmika Mandanna, the film’s leading actress. Following the tremendous success of Pushpa: The Rise in Bihar, where its song “Srivalli” became a sensation, the film’s producers have chosen to debut the trailer of the sequel in the state.
Babu Shahi, the film’s executive producer, expressed gratitude to the Patna district administration for their support in organising the large-scale event. “This is the first time we are holding such a grand event in Bihar, and never before has a trailer been launched on such a scale in the entire country,” Shahi said. Preparations for the event at Gandhi Maidan are reportedly complete, with tight security arrangements in place to ensure the program’s success.
Event attendees will be able to enter through Gate No. 10 of Gandhi Maidan, where counters will provide free passes. Entry is scheduled between 5:00 and 5:30 pm, with the program running until 9:00 pm. Shahi added that excitement is high among the people of Bihar, and he hopes for a large turnout.
Released in 2021, Pushpa: The Rise became the highest-grossing Indian film of the year, earning Rs. 313 crore in India and ₹350 crore worldwide. It ranks sixth among the highest-grossing Telugu films of all time.
