Patna: Bollywood actor Ashutosh Rana arrived in Patna on Thursday to promote his upcoming film, ‘One Two Cha Cha Cha’, which is set against a Bihar backdrop and releases tomorrow.
Speaking at a press conference held at a private hotel, Rana lauded the people of Bihar, saying they have showcased their talent across India and noting that “there is a unique sweetness in the language of Bihar.” He described the film as full of humour and entertainment, adding that audiences will see a lighter, more playful side of him.
The cast and crew discussed the film’s story, highlighting its comic timing, unexpected twists, and family-friendly appeal. Lalit Prabhakar, one of the actors, said, “This film is full of joyful madness. We laughed constantly during the shooting, and that energy will reach the audience.” Anant V Joshi added: “In this film, confusion is the real hero, which makes it incredibly funny.”
Rana, known for his distinctive style in Hindi cinema, remarked that “comedy is just as challenging as serious roles,” promising viewers a different facet of his acting.
The film also features a strong technical team, with cinematography by Amol Gole, production design by Bijon Dasgupta, editing by Ranjit Bahadur, choreography by Chinni Prakash and Adil Sheikh, and a background score by National Award winner Harshavardhan Rameshwar.
Produced under Pellucidar Production Private Limited, and directed by Abhishek Raj and Rajneesh Thakur, with Amit Gupta as co-producer, the film stars Ashutosh Rana, Abhimanyu Singh, Mukesh Tiwari, Harsh Mayar, Lalit Prabhakar, Anant V Joshi, Ashok Pathak, and Naira M Banerjee.
The producers described ‘One Two Cha Cha Cha’ as a celebration of laughter and joy, promising a heartwarming, rule-breaking comedy for the big screen.
