Bettiah: The Bettiah police have intensified their crackdown on crime by releasing a list of 80 notorious criminals and announcing rewards ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000 for information leading to their arrest. These individuals are wanted in connection with serious offenses such as murder, robbery, extortion, and crimes under the POCSO Act.
The police have issued an ultimatum to these criminals to surrender within 10 days. Failure to do so will result in the confiscation of their properties and the demolition of any illegal constructions.
To encourage public cooperation, the police have assured that the identities of those who provide information will be kept confidential. This initiative aims to instill fear of the law among criminals and deter future criminal activities in the region.
