Bihar Agricultural University Achieves First NIRF Ranking, Placed 36th in Agriculture Sector

Bhagalpur: Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, has achieved a significant milestone by securing its first-ever spot in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings. The university was ranked 36th in the agriculture and allied sectors category, as per the NIRF rankings released by the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
The NIRF, an annual initiative, assesses and ranks higher education institutions across India based on a range of criteria, including teaching, learning resources, research, and professional practices. This achievement marks a noteworthy success for Bihar Agricultural University, which had been striving to secure a place in the NIRF rankings for several years.
The university’s Vice-Chancellor has been credited with playing a pivotal role in this accomplishment.
