Bhagalpur: Bihar Agricultural University (BAU) has achieved a significant milestone by securing a trademark for its logo and slogan, “Work is Worship, Work with Smile.” The slogan, introduced by Vice-Chancellor Professor D.R. Singh upon assuming office in January 2023, reflects his vision to enhance the university’s academic, research, extension, and training activities.

The trademark, granted by the Trade Marks Registry of the Government of India under the Trade Marks Act, 1999, became official on 6 June 2023. The recognition is seen as a testament to the university’s commitment to excellence under the leadership of Prof. Singh.

Expressing his delight at the achievement, Prof. Singh congratulated Dr. Anil Kumar Singh, Director of Research, and Dr. Nintu Mandal, ITMU In-charge Officer, for their efforts in making the trademark a reality. He also outlined ambitions for the university to secure additional patents, designs, and trademarks in the future, further solidifying its reputation in academia and innovation.

This national recognition not only underscores BAU’s growing prominence in academic and research circles but also aligns with its mission to uplift agricultural education and practices in Bihar.
