Patna: The Bihar government has announced that 9,532 assistant professor posts will be filled in universities and colleges across the state. According to information shared by the Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD), the recruitment advertisement is expected to be released by the end of September.

According to the information released by the IPRD, the recruitment drive will cover 9,532 assistant professor vacancies in Bihar’s higher education institutions.
The government said the recruitment advertisement is likely to be issued by the end of September, after which eligible candidates will be able to apply through the prescribed process.
Selection Process
The proposed recruitment will be based on a 200-mark evaluation system.
According to the information released:
- 75 marks will be allotted for the written examination.
- 25 marks will be allotted for the interview.
