Patna: The Baseball Association of Bihar has announced selection trials for the state team to participate in the 37th Senior National Women and Men Baseball Championship, scheduled to take place from December 26 to 30, 2024, in Sangrur, Punjab. The trials will be held on December 14 and 15 at Ramna Ground, Sonpur, in Saran district.
Speaking about the trials, association president Diljeet Khanna said the process aims to identify top talent to represent Bihar at the national level. General Secretary Madhu Sharma added that following the trials, a training camp will be organized, after which the final team roster will be announced.
The trials will be overseen by selectors Vipin Kumar, Vijay Kumar, and Aditya Kumar, while the training camp will be conducted under the guidance of international player Rupak Kumar and former national player Rajesh Kumar Chintu.
Uday Kumar will act as the coordinator for the selection process. The Baseball Association of Bihar has urged eligible players to ensure their readiness for this opportunity to compete on a national stage.
