Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the schedule for the 2025 Intermediate (Class 12) and Matriculation (Class 10) exams. The Intermediate exams will take place from February 1 to February 15, while the Matriculation exams are scheduled from February 17 to February 25. Results for both exams are expected between March and April, followed by supplementary and special exams. The results of supplementary exams will be declared in May or June.
A total of 12,89,601 candidates have registered for the Intermediate exams, while 15,81,089 students will appear for the Matriculation exams.
Key Exam Dates for 2025
- Intermediate Exams: February 1 to February 15
- Matriculation Exams: February 17 to February 25
- D.El.Ed Entrance Test: February 27
- ITI Language Subject Exams: April 25-26
- Class 11 Simultala Residential School Exam: June 25
- Class 6 Simultala Entrance Exam: October 17 (preliminary), December 20 (main)
Increased Rewards for Toppers
To encourage academic excellence, the Bihar Board has announced increased cash rewards for 2025 toppers.
- Matriculation and Intermediate Toppers:
- 1st place: ₹2 lakh
- 2nd place: ₹1.5 lakh
- 3rd place: ₹1 lakh
- 4th-5th place (Intermediate): ₹30,000 each
- 4th-10th place (Matriculation): ₹20,000 each
- Additional Reward: All toppers will receive a laptop.
Enhanced Scholarship Scheme
The scholarship for Matriculation and Intermediate toppers will also see a significant boost.
- Matriculation Top 10 Students: ₹2,000 per month for two years.
- Intermediate Top 5 Students: ₹2,500 per month.
