Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has extended the deadline for filling examination forms for the Intermediate and Matric annual examinations 2027. The last date, which was earlier fixed as September 17, has now been extended to September 30, 2026. The extension provides additional time to students who were unable to complete the examination form process within the earlier schedule.
According to the board, the decision has been taken in the interest of students. Heads of educational institutions will be responsible for completing the online examination form process within the extended deadline. Students appearing for the Bihar Board Intermediate and Matric annual examinations in 2027 are required to coordinate with their respective schools or colleges for submission of the forms.
BSEB Chairman Dr Tyagrajan SM said the deadline was extended keeping the interests of students in mind. The board has directed educational institutions to complete the required formalities within the revised schedule so that eligible students do not miss the opportunity to appear in the annual examinations.
For Intermediate Annual Examination 2027, the online examination form process will be carried out through the Bihar Board’s designated portal at intermediate.biharboardonline.com. The heads of recognised educational institutions will use the portal to complete the examination form process for their students.
For the Matric Annual Examination 2027, the examination form is to be filled through the board’s designated portal at exam.biharboardonline.org. Schools and students should follow the instructions issued by the Bihar Board while completing the process.
The revised deadline means that the examination form submission window has been extended by 13 days beyond the earlier September 17 deadline. Students who have not yet completed the process should contact their respective institutions and ensure that the required formalities are completed by September 30, 2026.
