Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will announce the Matriculation Examination 2025 results today. Education Minister Sunil Kumar will declare the results and unveil the list of toppers at 12 noon. He will be accompanied by Additional Chief Secretary S Siddharth and Bihar Board Chairman Anand Kishore during the announcement.
Over 15.85 Lakh Students Appeared for the Exam
This year, around 15.85 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 examination. Once the results are released, students can check their scores on the official websites:
Toppers to Receive Double Prize Money
The Bihar Board has doubled the cash rewards for toppers this year:
- 1st Rank: ₹2 lakh (previously ₹1 lakh)
- 2nd Rank: ₹1.5 lakh (previously ₹75,000)
- 3rd Rank: ₹1 lakh (previously ₹50,000)
- 4th to 10th Rank: ₹20,000 each (previously ₹10,000)
This initiative aims to encourage academic excellence among students.
Bihar Board Maintains Its Record for Fastest Result Declaration
For the seventh consecutive year, the Bihar Board has remained the first in the country to declare both Intermediate (Class 12) and Matric (Class 10) results ahead of other boards. The Class 12 results were released on March 25, and now, the Matriculation results are being declared on March 29.
Students and parents are advised to keep their roll numbers and admit cards handy to check results smoothly.
