Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Inspects Chhath Ghats in Patna for Upcoming Festival

Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar conducted a road inspection of several Chhath Ghats along the River Ganga in Patna on Sunday, assessing preparations for the upcoming Chhath Puja, a major festival of folk faith. Traveling via the JP Ganga Path, the Chief Minister visited key locations, including Patipul Ghat, JP Setu Western Ghat, JP Setu Ghat, Pehelwan Ghat, LCT Ghat, Collectorate Ghat, and Krishna Ghat in Digha.

Stopping at Patipul Ghat, the Chief Minister reviewed the ongoing preparations, issuing instructions to officials to ensure the Ghats are fully prepared to accommodate devotees. He emphasized the importance of both convenience and safety, instructing that roads leading to these Ghats be repaired so devotees can reach them easily.

The CM further directed that arrangements be made to guarantee that devotees encounter no difficulties while offering Arghya during the festival. He advised officials to focus on the safety and comfort of devotees, ensuring they experience no hindrance while participating in rituals.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by several senior officials during the inspection, including Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Deepak Kumar, Secretary to the Chief Minister Anupam Kumar, Special Officer to the Chief Minister Gopal Singh, District Magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh, and Senior Superintendent of Police Rajiv Mishra.
