Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the commencement of the Class 11 admission process for the academic session 2025–2027. The enrollment will be conducted exclusively online through the Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS) portal, accessible at www.ofssbihar.net, from April 24 to May 3.
According to the BSEB, students must fill out the general application form and refer to the general list sheet available on the portal to understand the admission guidelines, eligibility, reservation rules, and selection procedures.
Key Guidelines for Students
- Only online applications will be accepted through the OFSS portal.
- Offline applications will not be entertained under any circumstances.
- Students can select a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 institutions while filling the form. These choices will be treated as final and cannot be changed later in the admission process.
- The application fee is ₹350, and applications without fee payment will be rejected.
The board has advised applicants to review last year’s (2024) cutoff marks of various institutions, available on the OFSS website, before selecting their preferred schools or inter colleges.
Over 17.5 Lakh Seats Available in 10,006 Institutions
This year, admissions will be offered in 10,006 recognized government and non-government inter-level institutions (higher secondary schools and inter colleges), with more than 17.5 lakh seats available across various streams.
However, the degree colleges have been excluded from this year’s OFSS list, as they will not offer Class 11 admissions. The faculty-wise seat matrix and the list of participating institutions have been uploaded on the OFSS website.

The examination committee has emphasized that students and parents should read the official information booklet carefully before applying to avoid errors and confusion. The general list will help candidates understand the complete process—from application to final enrollment.
