Bihar: Coca-Cola Bottling Plant to Be Established in Buxar with Rs 1235 Crore Investment
Buxar: In a significant boost to Bihar’s industrial sector, a Coca-Cola bottling plant is set to be constructed in Nawanagar, Buxar, with an investment of Rs 1235 crores. The Bihar Industrial Development Authority (BIADA) has allocated 65 acres of land to M/s SLMG Beverages Private Limited for this project.
The land was allotted based on the recommendation of the Project Clearance Committee (PCC), and construction of the plant will begin once the company completes the necessary formalities.
Nitish Mishra, Minister Department of Industries & Tourism, tweeted, “M/s SLMG Beverages Private Limited, a franchise of the global beverage giant Coca-Cola, will establish the bottling unit with a production capacity of 3.24 lakh c/s (cases) per day. This development marks a significant step in the industrialization of Bihar, reflecting the state’s growing appeal as a hub for major manufacturing investments.”
