Patna: The Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee has launched its official anthem song ahead of the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, with Dr. Akhilesh Prasad Singh, President of Bihar Congress, attending the event as chief guest. The anthem aims to galvanize the party’s electoral campaign, highlighting the challenges facing Delhi residents and positioning Congress as a strong alternative to the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
During the launch, Dr. Singh emphasized that the anthem encapsulates the collective frustration of Delhi’s citizens and Congress supporters, who feel their hopes have been dashed by both AAP and BJP over the past decade. The song focuses on the deteriorating state of health services in the city and the broader suffering experienced by Delhiites under both parties’ governance. “This anthem speaks to the pain and aspirations of the people of Delhi. It highlights the failures of the AAP and BJP and showcases how they have exploited the people’s trust,” Dr. Singh said. “It’s not just a song; it’s a message of hope and a call to action for the citizens of Delhi.”
The anthem also critiques AAP’s deceptive political tactics and the BJP’s central governance, which, according to Dr. Singh, has only exacerbated the issues facing the city. He expressed confidence that the anthem would inspire both Congress candidates and voters across constituencies, reinforcing the party’s commitment to restoring Delhi’s prosperity.
Dr. Singh concluded by appealing to residents of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh to show their support for Congress candidates in the elections, urging them to vote for the party’s vision of a better future for Delhi.
