Patna: In a bid to rejuvenate their image and appeal to a broader voter base, the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) and Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLSP) have announced a series of new candidates for the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. The move marks an effort to project young, energetic and regionally rooted faces in several constituencies.
The LJP(R) released a list that includes Atirek Kumar, Ishwar Mandal, Komal Singh, Ajay Kushwaha, Aditya Kumar, Bhisham Kushwaha, Vikas Singh (alias Jishu Singh), Indradev Mandal, Dr Manjariq Mrinal, Raveena Kushwaha, Abhishek Kumar, Bablu Mandal, Nachiketa Mandal, Ruhel Ranjan, Rahul Singh, Samriddh Verma, Vishal Sah, Shweta Gupta, Nagendra Rawat, Sonam Rani Sardar, Pappu Kumar Verma, Rituraj Kumar and Chandeshwar Chandravanshi.
Party leaders said the list reflects a “balanced mix of youth, women and community representation” aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots network.
Similarly, HAM has brought in new faces such as Seemant Mrinal, Raju Tiwari, Sanjay Paswan, Babulal, Jitendra, Rani Choudhary, Rajeev Ranjan, Sunil Yadav, Prakash Chandra and Nitesh Kumar, marking its strategy to expand influence beyond traditional strongholds.
Meanwhile, the Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLSP) has also unveiled its new lineup featuring Rabit Kumar, Snehlata, Madhav Anand and Prashant Pankaj, signalling its intention to consolidate support in semi-urban and rural belts.
Political observers see these announcements as part of a broader trend among smaller parties to attract undecided voters and increase bargaining power in post-election alliances.
