Patna: The Bihar Energy Secretary, Manoj Kumar Singh, convened an Open House meeting at Vidyut Bhawan, Patna, on Thursday to address electricity-related issues faced by industrial consumers. The session aimed to resolve complaints from high-tension (HT) and low-tension industrial supply (LTIS) consumers and streamline power supply across the state.
During the meeting, Singh connected with all supply circle offices via video conference, allowing senior officers to discuss consumer grievances in real time and issue instructions for their immediate resolution. The discussions covered a wide range of complaints, suggestions, and demands, with officials emphasising the prompt registration and resolution of every case.

“The Energy Department is committed to delivering quality and uninterrupted power supply,” Singh said, underscoring the department’s focus on transparency and industry-friendly services.
Open House meetings are held every Thursday from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Vidyut Bhawan under the guidance of the state government, with the aim of strengthening consumer-focused services and ensuring a reliable power system for businesses.
Industrial consumers can apply for new connections via the Suvidha app, the NBPDCL or SBPDCL websites, or by visiting their nearest electricity office.
