Patna: Thirty-six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers from the Bihar cadre, including the district magistrates of four districts and several departmental secretaries, have been nominated for a mid-career training programme at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration Department, the officers will participate in the mandatory Mid-Career Training Programme (Phase IV), scheduled to be held from June 15 to July 10.
Among those selected for the programme is Thiyagarajan S M. The district magistrates of Darbhanga, Nalanda and Begusarai — Kausal Kumar, Kundan Kumar and Srikanth Shastri — are also included in the list.
Officials from several state departments, serving in secretary-level positions, will also attend the programme as part of the Centre’s structured training framework for senior IAS officers.
The General Administration Department has directed all nominated officers to complete online registration through the Academy’s official portal and inform the department after registration.
The Mid-Career Training Programme is designed to enhance administrative and policy-making skills of IAS officers at different stages of service through academic sessions, governance studies and leadership training.
The complete list of officers nominated for the training programme has also been released by the department.
