Patna/Supaul: Young job seekers in Bihar who have completed Class 10, Class 12 or an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) course will have an opportunity to apply for apprenticeship roles at a job fair in Supaul later this month. According to the District Employment Office, the one-day recruitment drive will take place on July 20 at the District Employment Office premises in the Joint Labour Building.
The fair, organised under the Department of Youth, Employment and Skill Development, will run from 11am to 4pm. Officials said candidates would be interviewed directly by the participating employer for available positions.
What the Job Fair Will Offer
According to the District Employment Office, Vision India Services Private Limited will recruit 100 trainees under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS).
Selected candidates will be posted at a manufacturing unit in Noida, where they will undergo apprenticeship training. The recruitment process will be based on direct interviews conducted during the fair.
Who Can Apply?
Officials said both male and female candidates are eligible to participate, provided they are between 18 and 28 years of age.
Applicants must have passed Class 10, Class 12, or hold an ITI qualification. Candidates meeting these eligibility criteria can appear for the interview without paying any registration fee.
Salary and Benefits
According to the District Employment Office, selected trainees will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000 to Rs 15,500. The employer will also provide canteen facilities at the workplace.
Officials added that free registration on the National Career Service (NCS) portal will be available at the venue for candidates who have not yet enrolled.
Officials Warn Against Middlemen
The employment office has emphasised that participation in the job fair is completely free. Candidates have been advised not to pay any individual claiming to facilitate recruitment and to deal directly with the employer during the selection process.
Officials urged job seekers to attend the fair at the scheduled time and bring the necessary educational documents for the interview process.
