Patna : The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday carried out multiple raids at the residences of a close relative of a prominent Bihar leader, spanning locations from Bihar and Jharkhand to Delhi. The operation, part of an ongoing investigation, targeted several properties linked to Ramkripal Singh, the director of a construction company based in Begusarai, and his son.

Sources said the CBI conducted simultaneous searches at Singh’s properties in Begusarai and Muzaffarpur, with further raids underway at various other locations. While officials have yet to release an official statement on the reason behind the raids, it is believed that the searches are connected to suspected financial irregularities involving the construction firm.

This development comes amid heightened scrutiny of politically connected business entities in Bihar, as the CBI intensifies its efforts to crack down on corruption and financial misconduct.
