Additional police forces will be deployed in identified sensitive areas after consultations with district magistrates and superintendents of police. During Chehlum, Tazia processions will be fully videographed to ensure swift response to any disturbances. The force has also imposed a strict ban on DJs, warning of legal action under the Indian Penal Code and the CCA against violators.
More than 8,000 trainee recruits, along with 40 companies of SAP, 12 additional DG Reserve units and seven CRPF companies, will be stationed across the state as needed.
