Bihar Proposes to Host National Youth Festival in 2025

Patna: The Government of Bihar has submitted a proposal to the Government of India to host the National Youth Festival in Bihar from 12-16 January 2025. This announcement came after a meeting between Sarvendra Pratap Singh, State Director of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, and Dayanidhan Pandey, Secretary of the Department of Art, Culture, and Youth. Singh congratulated Pandey for the successful organization of Yuva Utsav 2024, highlighting the achievement of hosting the event within the set time frame.
Pandey also encouraged youth participation in the ongoing quiz competition for individuals aged 15-29 under Phase-2 of Yuva Utsav, titled “Vikasit Bharat Young Leader Dialogue.” The competition, running from 25 November to 5 December 2024, is being held on mybharat.gov.in.
The Secretary emphasised the importance of the competition, urging young people to engage and share their views on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a “Developed India 2047.” The winners will have the chance to present their ideas at the “Bharat Mandapam” event in Delhi on 11-12 January 2025.
Pandey encouraged all youth in Bihar to take part in the competition, offering them a unique opportunity to contribute to shaping the nation’s future.
