Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the dates for the much-anticipated Matriculation Sent- Up Examination for the ongoing academic year. Scheduled to take place from November 23 to November 27, 2023, the sent- up exam will be conducted in two separate shifts, bringing both excitement and anticipation for BSEB students preparing for their matriculation examination in 2024.
Crucially, all students aiming to appear for the Bihar Board 10th annual examination in 2024 must first successfully complete the Bihar Board 10th Sent- up examination, the schedule for which has been outlined as follows:
- On November 23, the examination’s maiden day, the first shift will witness the testing of mother tongue proficiency (including Hindi, Bengali, Urdu, and Maithili), while the second shift will focus on the second Indian language (comprising Sanskrit, Hindi, Arabic, Persian, and Bhojpuri).
- The subsequent day, November 24, will host the science and music examinations tailored for visually impaired candidates in the first shift, with the social science examination taking place in the second shift.
- November 25 will feature mathematics and Home Science exams for visually impaired candidates in the first shift, followed by the English test in the second shift.
- Lastly, on November 27, the examination of optional subjects will be divided between the first and second shifts.
Crucially, students unable to appear or who do not perform satisfactorily in the Sent- up examination will be disqualified from participating in the annual examination scheduled for 2024. The results of the Sentup examination will be diligently collected by schools and subsequently submitted to the office of the District Education Officer by November 30.
