Bihar: St. Dominic and Nathan International Schools Clinch Football Titles in Patna District School Sports Event

Patna, 19th October 2023: The four-day Patna District Level School Sports Competition culminated on Thursday, seeing a gamut of talents in various sports. St. Dominic High School defeated St. Joseph High School 4-0 in the Boys Under-17 football final. Nathan International School won the Boys Under-14 football championship by defeating Upgraded Middle School Sakraicha 1-0. The concluding ceremony was attended by a range of dignitaries and saw champions crowned across diverse categories.

Football: A One-Sided Dominance

St. Dominic High School displayed overwhelming skills with Yuvraj, Prince, and Raj leading the scoreboard. In the Boys Under-14 category, Nathan International School emerged victorious with a goal by Ashish Kumar.

The event concluded with an awards ceremony, where Pankaj Kumar Raj, I.P.S., Director-cum-Secretary of Bihar State Sports Authority, presented medals and trophies to the winning teams and players. On this occasion, dignitaries including Sports Executive Rajendra Kumar, District Sports Officer, Patna, Om Prakash, NIS Athletics Instructor Abhishek Kumar, Manoj Kumar, Sudarshan Kumar, Ashok Kumar were present.
