Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has clarified that there will be no change to the Bihar Student Credit Card scheme, amid reports that had raised concerns among students and parents.
Choudhary said the scheme will continue to provide education loans of up to Rs 4 lakh to students pursuing higher education. He shared the clarification on his X account.
स्टूडेंट क्रेडिट कार्ड योजना के संबंध में विद्यार्थियों एवं अभिभावकों के मन में किसी भी प्रकार का संशय नहीं रहना चाहिए।
उच्च शिक्षा हेतु ₹4 लाख तक का स्टूडेंट क्रेडिट कार्ड मिल रहा है और यह सुविधा आगे भी पूर्ववत ही जारी रहेगी।

Rs 4 Lakh Education Loan To Continue
The chief minister said students currently receiving education loans of up to Rs 4 lakh through the Student Credit Card scheme will continue to have access to the facility.
He also urged students and parents not to have any doubts or concerns about the continuation of the scheme.
Government Assures Support For Higher Education
Choudhary said the Bihar government remains committed to supporting the education and future of the state’s youth.
He said financial constraints should not prevent students from pursuing higher education and that the government would continue providing financial assistance through the Student Credit Card scheme.
The clarification is expected to ease concerns among students and parents following reports about possible changes to the scheme.
