Patna: The Bihar sub-junior boys and girls softball team is all set to participate in the National Sub-Junior Softball Championship in Jammu, which will be held from 20 to 24 December. The team left for Jammu on 18 December. Prior to their departure, Raju Tiwari, State President of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), extended his blessings to the team and wished them success in the competition.
The team was also supported by other political and sports figures including National General Secretary Dr. Shahnawaz Ahmed Kaifi, State Vice Presidents Vishnu Paswan and E Naushad Ahmed, State Office Incharge Om Prakash Bharti, Youth Patna Metropolitan President Kundan Yadav, as well as national players Bipin Kumar and Rajesh Kumar.
Rupak Kumar, Joint Secretary of the Softball Association of Bihar, announced that Prince Kumar will lead the team as captain, with Rishabh Kumar serving as vice-captain. The rest of the team comprises Sanjeev Kumar, Himanshu Kumar, Abhishek Kumar, Ayush Kumar, Akash Kumar, Rocky Kumari, Jyoti Raj Tiwari, Vikas Kumar, Himanshu Patel, Manav Kumar, and Mohammad Sakin. The team will be coached by Sanjeet Kumar, with Anuj Kumar Anand as the manager.
