38 Bihar Teachers To Receive State Teacher Award; CM Samrat Choudhary To Honour Them On September 5

One teacher from each of Bihar’s 38 districts has been selected, including 17 women, for their contribution to school education.

Patna: Thirty-eight government teachers from across Bihar have been selected for the State Teacher Award for their contributions to school education, according to the Education Department.

One teacher from each of the state’s 38 districts has been selected for the honour, including 17 female teachers. The awards will be presented at Sri Krishna Memorial Hall in Patna on September 5, National Teachers’ Day.

Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary will honour the selected teachers at the ceremony.

Teachers Selected From Patna, Gaya And Nalanda

Aparajita Kumari, head teacher at the Primary School in Valipur Harijantoli in Paliganj, has been selected from Patna district.

From Gaya, Guddi Kumari, in-charge headmistress of the Middle School at Baheradih in Dobhi, has been selected.

Saurabh Kumar, a teacher at the Upgraded Middle School in Bahadurpur, Asthawan, has been selected from Nalanda.

Selections From Champaran And Seemanchal

Md Nurul Hoda, head teacher at the Government Primary School in Shekhwa Tola, Adapur, has been selected from East Champaran.

Duryodhan Baitha, headmaster of the Government Urdu Middle School at Garhwa Bhogadi in Majhaulia, has been selected from West Champaran.

Other selected teachers include Ajay Kumar Pandit from Purnia, Baby Archana from Araria and Shahzad Anwar from Kishanganj.

Teachers From Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur And Darbhanga

Nivedita Kumari, a teacher at the New Primary School in Harijan Tola, Kalgiganj, Kahalgaon, has been selected from Bhagalpur.

Keshav Kumar, head teacher of the Primary School at Mohanpur Urdu in Muraul, has been selected from Muzaffarpur.

From Darbhanga, Kumar Prashant, head teacher of the Primary School at Fakirna in Biraul, has been chosen.

17 Women Among Awardees

Seventeen of the 38 selected teachers are women, according to the Education Department’s list.

The women selected include Pramila Kumari from Bhojpur, Punita Kumari from Gopalganj, Chanchala Tiwari from Saran, Madhu Kumari from Khagaria and Shama Parveen from Sitamarhi.

Selections From South Bihar

The list includes Rajkumar Prasad Gupta from Aurangabad, Umakant Kumar from Banka, Kamlesh Kumar from Rohtas, Md Imam Ali Ansari from Buxar, Sumit Kumar from Kaimur and Kislay Prasad from Jamui.

Pawan Kumar from Jehanabad, Pankaj Ranjan from Arwal and Raj Kumar from Lakhisarai have also been selected.

Teachers From Kosi And Mithila

Punita Kumari from Saharsa, Usha Kumari from Madhubani, Dr Nilu Rani from Madhepura and Naresh Kumar Nirala from Supaul are among the selected teachers from the Kosi and Mithila regions.

Rakesh Kumar from Samastipur, Prabha Kumari from Begusarai and Nikita Bharti from Nawada have also been selected.

Representation From All 38 Districts

The Education Department’s selection ensures that every district in Bihar is represented in the State Teacher Award.

The awardees include head teachers, headmasters, Vishisht teachers and school teachers working at institutions across different levels, from primary to higher secondary education.

The awards will be presented during the Teachers’ Day ceremony at Sri Krishna Memorial Hall in Patna on September 5.
