Patna: Temperatures have begun to fall across Bihar, signalling the arrival of colder weather even as daytime conditions remain relatively mild. In Patna, sunshine offered little relief on Thursday, with mornings and evenings turning noticeably cooler.
According to the Meteorological Centre, daytime temperatures have slipped by 2 to 3 Degree Celcius in most districts. Patna recorded a maximum of 28.6C, while Sheikhpura saw the state’s highest temperature at 30.8C. Aurangabad reported the lowest minimum temperature at 11.6C. Purnia experienced the lowest visibility, measured at 800 metres. No rainfall was recorded anywhere in the state over the past 24 hours.
The weather is expected to remain dry over the next week, the Met Department said. Light to moderate fog is forecast in several districts over the coming three to four days, with temperature fluctuations likely to persist throughout November.
