Patna: Bihar Tourism has pitched its cultural heritage and investment opportunities on the global stage, with officials highlighting the state’s Buddhist, Ramayana, Sikh and eco-tourism circuits at an international exhibition in Paris.
A high-level delegation led by Tourism Director and Special Secretary Udayan Mishra represented Bihar at the International Tourism Exhibition in Paris, meeting international tour operators, companies and investors. Officials described Bihar as a safe and attractive destination for tourism investment and assured full support to those looking to partner.

The state’s heritage and religious tourism circuits were the centrepiece of the showcase, drawing attention from delegates who visited the Bihar pavilion. According to officials, the growing global interest demonstrates Bihar’s progress in positioning itself on the international tourism map.

Tourism officials believe participation in global events such as this will not only bring fresh investment but also help Bihar gain a stronger international identity, boosting both the state’s image and its economy.
