Weather to Turn Pleasant in February
IMD scientists said February is expected to be pleasant, with higher-than-normal temperatures. Light cold may be felt occasionally, but conditions like January’s severe chill are unlikely.
Two Main Reasons for Higher Temperatures in February
First, western disturbances affecting North India will be weaker, reducing cold air inflow.
Second, the sun’s altitude increases in February and daytime becomes longer, leading to more heating of the surface and atmosphere.
Patna Forecast
Patna is expected to remain clear. Light cold will be felt in the morning, but sunshine will bring relief during the day. The minimum temperature is likely to stay between 10°C and 13°C, and the maximum between 24°C and 26°C.
Overall, Bihar will see a gradual shift towards warmer and more comfortable weather in February, with mornings and nights remaining mildly cool.
