Patna: Bihar is set to remain under a stable winter pattern through the coming week, with the Met department forecasting little change in temperatures and continued dry weather across the state.
According to India Meteorological Department, Maximum temperatures are likely to hold steady for the next three to four days. On Sunday, daytime readings stayed below 30°C in almost all districts, with Patna recording 27.2°C — about 2.5°C below normal — while Kishanganj reached 30.9°C.
Night temperatures are also expected to remain stable for the next two to three days before gradually rising. Aurangabad recorded the state’s lowest minimum at 10.2°C, with temperatures elsewhere ranging between 10.2°C and 17.2°C.

According to the Bihar Mausam Seva Kendra, night temperatures are likely to stay between 10°C and 16°C, while daytime temperatures will fall within the 26–30°C range. Both are expected to rise by 1–2°C from November 19.
Dry weather is expected to dominate the next six to seven days, alongside hazy skies in the morning and evening. Light to moderate fog may appear in isolated pockets over the next two to three days, affecting visibility during early hours.

Westerly winds blowing at around 30 km/h are likely to persist, adding to the winter chill, particularly after sunset.
With steady day temperatures, cool nights and intermittent haze, Bihar is set to experience a consistent early-winter pattern before a marginal warming trend later in the week.
