Bihar Weather Forecast: Light Rain Possible From October 16
The department’s seven-day rainfall forecast indicates that weather conditions will remain predominantly dry across the state from October 14 to 16.
However, isolated places in north-western and north-central Bihar may receive light rainfall on October 16 and 17. On October 18, light showers are possible at isolated locations in north-eastern Bihar.
The forecast comes as the southwest monsoon withdrawal line passes through Dhubri and Kolkata. A cyclonic circulation is also present over north-eastern Uttar Pradesh and adjoining Bihar, extending up to an altitude of 4.5 km above sea level.
Despite these weather systems, the department has not issued any district-level warnings for the period.
No Weather Warning Issued Until October 20
The Meteorological Centre has confirmed that no warnings for rainfall or other weather-related hazards have been issued for any district between October 14 and 20.
Residents can therefore expect mainly dry conditions on October 15, with the possibility of isolated light showers in parts of northern Bihar from October 16 onwards.
The forecast suggests that dry weather and relatively stable temperatures will continue across most of Bihar, with only limited rainfall expected in some northern areas over the coming days.
