Bihar Weather Update: Cold Mornings, Warm Afternoons

Bihar To See 3°C Rise In Temperature Over 4 Days; Cold To Return With Rain From February 8

Patna: Weather conditions in Bihar continue to shift due to northwesterly winds, with the northern parts experiencing fog and the southern regions, including Patna, remaining dry. The changing conditions are expected to persist for another week, with authorities advising residents to take precautions.

According to the Meteorological Centre in Patna, the minimum temperature is likely to rise over the next 48 hours before dropping again. A cyclonic circulation remains active around northeastern Bangladesh, influencing weather patterns across the state.

The cold spell is affecting several districts, including Patna, Gaya, Begusarai, Bhagalpur, Purnia, and Darbhanga. Children and the elderly have been advised to remain cautious, as temperature fluctuations could impact health.

The presence of fog will continue in the northern regions, while a slowdown in westerly winds led to a slight rise in minimum temperatures in most cities on Monday. Patna recorded a minimum temperature of 14.2°C, while Dehri in Rohtas was the coldest at 7.6°C. The maximum temperature in Patna stood at 27.7°C, with Aurangabad being the warmest at 30.3°C.

In Patna and surrounding areas, mild cold conditions prevailed in the morning due to westerly winds, but clear skies and sunshine kept the weather pleasant during the day.
