Patna: Weather conditions across Bihar continue to fluctuate, with rising temperatures and increased humidity affecting several regions. In Patna and its surrounding areas, the day remained partially cloudy, while bright sunshine combined with easterly winds led to a humid atmosphere. On Friday, Patna recorded a maximum temperature of 30.4 degrees Celsius, which is three degrees above normal. Meanwhile, Madhubani remained the hottest place in the state, registering a maximum temperature of 31.8 degrees Celsius.

Rain and Thunderstorm Alert for 14 Districts

The Meteorological Center in Patna has issued a yellow alert for thunder and lightning in 14 districts over the next 24 hours. The affected districts include Gaya, Nawada, Jamui, Banka, Munger, Bhagalpur, Katihar, Khagaria, Saharsa, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Madhepura, and Purnia. Farmers in these areas have been advised to avoid going to the fields during this period to prevent any mishaps.

On the other hand, the weather in Patna and other districts is expected to remain dry, with no significant changes in minimum temperatures predicted over the next 48 hours.

Weather Conditions in the Last 24 Hours

Over the past day, the minimum temperatures in 25 cities, including Patna, and the maximum temperatures in most parts of Bihar remained above normal. Patna recorded a minimum temperature of 18.6 degrees Celsius, while Agwanpur (Saharsa) recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the state at 12.5 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, maximum temperatures across Bihar were two to seven degrees above normal, while minimum temperatures were three to five degrees above normal. The fluctuating temperature trend is expected to continue in the coming days, with no significant rise in temperatures anticipated.

Authorities have advised residents to stay updated with weather alerts and take necessary precautions in areas expecting thunderstorms.
