Patna: The weather across Bihar is undergoing rapid changes, with dry conditions expected to prevail due to the influence of westerly winds. According to the Patna Meteorological Centre, both maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to rise by two to four degrees Celsius over the next 72 hours. Despite the warming trend, mild cold conditions are expected to persist in the mornings and evenings.
On Monday, Patna and its surrounding areas are forecast to experience partly cloudy skies in the evening. A decrease in the speed of westerly winds has resulted in minimum temperatures remaining above normal in most parts of the state, including the capital. Over the past 24 hours, a rise of one to two degrees Celsius was recorded in both maximum and minimum temperatures.
Patna registered a minimum temperature of 16.8 degrees Celsius on Saturday, marking an increase of 1.3 degrees above normal. Aurangabad recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the state at 11.2 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the maximum temperature in the capital reached 30.6 degrees Celsius, an increase of 3.5 degrees above normal. Khagaria recorded the highest maximum temperature in Bihar at 32.6 degrees Celsius.
A rise in maximum temperatures was observed across all districts, including Patna. The weather in the capital and its surrounding areas remained dry, with no significant changes expected in the coming days.
