Biharsharif: Two young entrepreneurs from Biharsharif, Saksham Raj and Rishu Kumar, have launched an AI-based travel platform after spending three years researching the challenges faced by travellers in planning trips.
The platform, called “Kro Travels”, was developed after the duo experienced difficulties while organising a trip of their own. They said the process of choosing destinations, comparing transport options, finding accommodation, and estimating costs required searching across multiple websites and videos.
The idea, they said, emerged from a desire to simplify that process for travellers.
Three Years Of Research
Saksham and Rishu began working on the concept at the age of 15. Over the next three years, they focused on research, data collection, and platform development.
According to the founders, the project involved gathering local insights from more than 8,000 tourist destinations and cities across India. They said the aim was to provide users with practical and reliable travel guidance rather than promotional descriptions.
The founders stated that the platform uses artificial intelligence to generate organised travel itineraries within minutes.
Expansion Of The Initiative
The initiative later gained a third co-founder with experience in the international technology sector, helping expand the platform’s technical capabilities.
The team claims that thousands of users are currently using the service for travel planning and itinerary generation.
The development of the platform has drawn attention locally as an example of young entrepreneurs from smaller cities building technology-led ventures.
