Patna: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has completed a massive campaign drive in Bihar ahead of the second phase of Assembly elections. With voting set to take place on November 11, the party’s leaders and star campaigners held a total of 565 public meetings across the state. Over the past few weeks, all major parties worked tirelessly to reach voters, but the BJP’s campaign stood out for its large scale and active participation by top leaders.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi led from the front with 14 public meetings and one grand roadshow. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, known for his strong campaigning style, held 36 public meetings and roadshows — the highest among all BJP leaders. Through these events, he reached nearly 168 assembly constituencies, urging people to vote for the NDA. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also campaigned actively, addressing 31 public meetings and roadshows. The three leaders became the most sought-after faces of the NDA campaign, drawing large crowds wherever they went.

Other senior BJP leaders also contributed to the campaign’s momentum. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh addressed 21 public meetings, BJP National President JP Nadda held 15, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari spoke at 7, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at 12, and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav at 17. Their visits helped the party strengthen its connection with voters across different parts of Bihar, with each leader highlighting the achievements of the central and state governments.

The campaign also featured leaders and public figures known for their mass appeal. Delhi’s Rekha Gupta addressed 18 public meetings, while Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took part in 10. Popular Bhojpuri actor and singer Pawan Singh, a big draw in the region, addressed 41 public meetings, while Delhi MP and performer Manoj Tiwari spoke at 37. Their participation added colour and energy to the BJP’s outreach, helping the party connect with local audiences in a more personal way.

Now that campaigning for the second phase has ended, the focus shifts to November 11, when voters will decide the future of Bihar. With such a massive effort from top leaders and local favourites alike, the BJP hopes its message of development and stability will strike a chord with the people of the state.
