Gayaji: On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, BJP leaders performed special prayers and rituals at the renowned Palanpeeth Maa Mangala Gauri Temple in Gaya, one of India’s 51 Shaktipeeths.
Dr Manish Pankaj Mishra, a BJP leader, said the ceremony, which included a havan and Vedic rituals, was intended to pray for the Prime Minister’s long life and good health. “For nearly an hour, we performed special prayers in the court of Maa Mangala Gauri, asking for blessings so that the Prime Minister may continue to serve the nation,” he said.
Dr Mishra also highlighted the Prime Minister’s global influence, noting that under his leadership India’s international standing had grown. “Today, India’s identity has strengthened across the world. The country’s voice is being heard more than ever on the global stage. It is thanks to his policies and dedication that India is moving towards becoming a world leader,” he said.
BJP workers joined the puja amid chants and mantras, while leaders including Santosh Thakur and Deepak Pandey were present to mark the occasion. Dr Mishra added that having Narendra Modi as Prime Minister was a privilege for the country, and expressed hope that his leadership would continue to guide India along the path of development.
