Patna: The aftermath of assembly elections in Telangana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh has reverberated through the political landscape, with the Congress party experiencing a significant setback in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh, juxtaposed against a resounding victory in Telangana. At the BJP office in Patna, jubilant party workers celebrated the victories, with state president Samrat Chaudhary expressing delight over the outcomes. He asserted that this triumph is just a glimpse, emphasizing the enduring influence of the “Modi guarantee” in the country. Meanwhile, JD (U) laid the blame on Congress for the electoral defeats.
JD (U) state general secretary Nikhil Mandal took to X to criticize Congress, suggesting that the INDIA bloc should follow Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Mandal quipped about Congress’ preoccupation with elections in five states, asserting that their neglect of alliances had consequences now visible in the results. JD (U) MP Sunil Kumar ‘Pintu’ urged Congress to cede leadership to regional parties in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Taking a swipe at CM Nitish, Manjhi commented on how the assembly election results reflected the Dalit society’s retribution. LJP (Ram Vilas) National President Chirag Paswan emphasized the strength of individual leadership.
Leader of Opposition Vijay Sinha credited the ongoing “Modi magic” for the BJP’s triumph in three states, asserting that the electorate’s approval spans youth, women, farmers, and the poor. Sinha deemed this victory a rebuke to divisive politics rooted in ethnic and religious fervor, while underscoring the strengthening of nationalism.
Rashtriya Lok Janata Dal national president Upendra Kushwaha congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi, union home minister Amit Shah, and BJP national president JP Nadda for the party’s impressive victory.
