BJP’s Delhi Victory Will Be Repeated in Bihar, Says Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary
Patna: Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has hailed the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) victory in the Delhi Assembly elections, congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party president JP Nadda for the win. He asserted that the party is poised to replicate its success in Bihar, with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) expected to secure over 200 seats in the upcoming state elections, citing the development work of PM Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
The Deputy CM expressed gratitude to the people of Delhi for placing their trust in Modi’s leadership, describing the result as a rejection of the AAP-DA government and its “false promises.” He claimed that the mandate was a verdict against political confrontation with the Centre and a strong endorsement of the double-engine government model.
Having campaigned in 17 out of 70 assembly constituencies, Chaudhary said the election results were as expected, alleging that Delhi under Arvind Kejriwal’s rule had suffered in terms of infrastructure and governance, drawing parallels with the Lalu Prasad era in Bihar. He further accused Kejriwal of political misconduct, including insulting migrants from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, involvement in the liquor scam, polluting the Yamuna, and misusing public funds to build his residence.
Chaudhary also dismissed Kejriwal’s allegations against the Election Commission and electronic voting machines (EVMs), urging him to accept the people’s verdict and engage in self-reflection.
