Darbhanga: SpiceJet faced a bomb threat at Darbhanga Airport, prompting immediate security measures. The threat was reported shortly before the flight’s scheduled departure to Delhi at 3:45 PM, leading to the swift deboarding of all passengers for their safety.
Following the evacuation, the aircraft and passengers’ luggage were thoroughly checked by security personnel. The passengers experienced a delay of approximately two hours while the security protocols were enforced.
This incident adds to growing concerns, as there have been reports of 30 bomb threats across various airlines, with five incidents affecting multiple carriers in the recent past. Authorities at the airport remain on high alert as they respond to ongoing security challenges.
