Patna: For the first time in Bihar, the Indian women’s team delivered a stellar performance to secure the bronze medal in the Asia Rugby Under-20 Championship 2025, hosted at the State Sports Academy-cum-Bihar Sports University campus in Rajgir.
The team featured four players from Bihar, whose contribution elevated the pride of the state and the nation. The championship also saw the men’s category title go to Hong Kong, with Sri Lanka finishing as runners-up, while China won the women’s category, followed by Hong Kong in second place.
