Nalanda: A large crowd gathered in churches across Bihar Sharif, including the Devisarai Catholic Church, to celebrate Christmas and honor the birth of Lord Jesus. Hundreds of devotees participated in the special prayer meeting organized on this occasion. The church was adorned with vibrant lights and creative themes, resembling a bride in its grandeur.
Father Anoop of Devisarai Catholic Church emphasized the significance of Christmas, marking the day when Lord Jesus incarnated on earth as a child to free humanity from the bondage of sin. He stated that sinners move away from God, but Jesus came to liberate them and restore their relationship with the divine.
Devotees began arriving at the church early in the morning, lighting candles and offering prayers. The entire church premises glowed with festive lights and decorations, creating a spiritual and joyous atmosphere. Special prayers were held, with devotees remembering Lord Jesus and seeking blessings for themselves and their loved ones.
The district administration ensured extensive security arrangements to maintain order during the festival. People from diverse communities actively participated in the celebrations, reflecting the spirit of social unity and spreading a message of religious harmony.
