CIMP Holds Orientation for PGDM Batch 2025-27 with Focus on Ethics and AI Leadership

Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna hosted the orientation programme for its PGDM batch 2025-27, inspiring students to embrace ethical AI leadership and lifelong learning.

Patna: Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) hosted the orientation programme for its PGDM batch 2025-27 on Tuesday.

The session commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony attended by Badrish Prakash, Global Head of Alliances, Tiger Analytics; Prof. Rana Singh, Director, CIMP; Kumod Kumar, CAO, CIMP; and Prof. Sunil Kumar, Associate Dean (Academics), along with other authorities, faculty members, and students.

Welcoming the newly admitted students, Prof. Rana Singh urged them to remain focused over the next two years, reminding them that “time and tide wait for none.” He assured them that CIMP provides all the resources necessary for academic success, and with dedication, they can become successful managers. “Millions of opportunities await you, both in India and globally,” he said.

Prof. Ankit Sharma introduced students to the PGDM programme, highlighting its structure, expectations, and the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and proficiency in modern tools. Emphasising that learning is a lifelong journey, he briefed them on institutional resources such as the library, journal subscriptions, infrastructure, academic and industry collaborations, and CIMP’s social initiatives. He noted that the institute maintains a 100% placement record, with the highest package last year exceeding Rs 16 lakh.

Prof. Sunil Kumar described the PGDM as “not just a degree but a journey,” advising students to manage screen time mindfully, build professional networks, leverage diversity among peers, and develop strong communication skills.

Addressing the students, Badrish Prakash encouraged them to not only witness but also lead the digital transformation, where AI plays a central role. He urged them to use AI strategically and ethically, calling it the “Dharma of AI.”

The event concluded with the signing of an MoU between CIMP and Tiger Analytics, followed by a Vote of Thanks delivered by Prof. Santosh Kumar, who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty members, students, and parents for their participation and support.
