Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the Rashtra Ratna Maharana Pratap Smriti Samaroh on Sunday to mark National Self-Respect Day. The event was held at the residence of Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Sanjay Singh.
The Chief Minister paid tribute to Maharana Pratap by offering flowers to his portrait and lighting a ceremonial lamp. He expressed his reverence for the great leader, acknowledging his contributions to the nation’s history.
MLC Sanjay Singh welcomed the Chief Minister with a ceremonial shawl and a memento. The event was attended by several prominent figures, including Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Rural Works Minister Ashok Choudhary, Science and Technology Minister Sumit Kumar Singh, MLC Sanjay Singh, and JDU senior leader and former MP Vashistha Narayan Singh, among others.
