Banka / Patna : A 19-year-old woman has died, and her husband is in critical condition after both allegedly consumed poison following a dispute in Bihar’s Banka district.
The incident occurred in Chachra village, within the Panjwara police station area. According to local authorities, Kriti Kumari and her husband, Santosh Mandal, ingested poison on Tuesday. While Kriti succumbed to the poisoning, Santosh has been admitted to a hospital in Bhagalpur for treatment.
Police have launched an investigation and are speaking to family members and neighbours to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Kriti, originally from Jhapaniya village in the Baunsi police station area, had been married for just a year.
