Patna : The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) has announced an extension to the application deadline for the Bihar Police Constable Recruitment 2025. Originally slated to close on April 18, the new deadline is now set for April 25, 2025, at 11:59 PM. This move comes in response to recent public holidays, offering candidates additional time to complete their applications.
The recruitment drive is aimed at filling over 19,000 constable positions in both the Bihar Police and the Bihar Special Armed Police. Aspiring applicants must have passed the Class 12 examination from a recognized board or hold an equivalent qualification. The age limit for general category candidates is 18 to 25 years, with age relaxations available for candidates from reserved categories in line with government regulations.
Interested candidates can apply through the official CSBC website at csbc.bihar.gov.in. The application process involves registration, providing personal and educational details, uploading a recent photograph and signature, and paying the application fee. The fee for SC/ST candidates, female residents of Bihar, and transgender applicants is Rs180, while all other candidates must pay Rs675. Those who complete the fee payment by the extended deadline will have an additional 24 hours to finalize their application.
The selection process includes a written examination featuring 100 objective-type questions to be completed within two hours. This will be followed by physical efficiency and standard tests, and document verification.
