Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Announced! Indian Railways Rolls Out Special Trains For Holi Travelers

Patna: Indian Railways has announced the launch of several special trains, including a Vande Bharat Express service between Delhi and Patna, to accommodate the surge in passengers traveling home for Holi.
Saraswati Chandra, Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway (ECR), confirmed on Thursday that the New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Special (02436/02435) will operate from March 8 to March 20, except Mondays. The train will depart from New Delhi at 8:30 am and reach Patna at 10:30 pm the same day. On the return journey, it will leave Patna at 5:30 am from March 9 to March 21,except Tuesdays, and arrive in New Delhi at 8:10 pm.
Additional Festival Specials Announced
To further ease travel, the Delhi-Patna Superfast Festival Special (04062/04061) will run daily from March 7 to March 17. It will leave Delhi at 11:55 pm and reach Patna at 4:40 pm the next day. The return journey will depart from Patna at 5:50 pm from March 7 to March 18, arriving in Delhi at 10:25 am the following day.
Another service, the Anand Vihar-Rajgir Superfast Festival Special (04070/04069), will run on 7, 11, 14, and 18 March. It will leave Anand Vihar Terminal at 12:20 pm and reach Rajgir at 7:50 pm the same day. The return train will depart Rajgir at 11:30 pm on the same dates and arrive at Anand Vihar at 7 pm the next day.
Indian Railways has also introduced additional special trains to Bihar to manage the increased demand during the festive season.
