Patna : A District Level Planning-Cum-Vocational Guidance Fair will be held on March 8 at the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Digha Ghat, Patna. Organised by the Under Regional Planning Directorate of the Labour Resources Department, the event aims to bridge the gap between job seekers and private-sector employers.
The fair will see the participation of around 40 employers, including major companies such as Aamadhane Private Limited, Wakaru International, Hotel Chanakya, Zomato, Delivery Limited, Vision India, Rishabh Automobiles, Swiggy, TeamLease, Retrofit Technology, and Shiv Shakti Biotech Limited. Opportunities will be available across multiple sectors, including manufacturing, hospitality, sales and marketing, security, and textiles, for candidates ranging from matriculation holders to ITI and graduate-level applicants.
Nour Ahsan, Assistant Director (Planning) at the Under Regional Planning Directorate, described the fair as a vital opportunity for job seekers. “This event provides a significant platform for candidates to connect with potential employers,” he said, urging participants to bring photocopies of their qualification certificates to improve their chances of securing a job.
The planning directorate will act as a facilitator, while the employers will oversee the selection process and determine service conditions. In addition to employment opportunities, various government institutions, including the District Industries Centre, District Registration and Counselling Centre, Bihar State Overseas Employment Bureau, RSETI, and Skill Development Centres, will set up stalls to offer information on employment and self-employment schemes.
Participation in the fair requires registration with the planning directorate. Candidates can register online via the National Career Service portal (www.ncs.gov.in) or on-site at the venue. The registration process is free of charge.
