Patna: Fans in Bihar hoping to attend a live concert by Punjabi singer and Bollywood star Diljit Dosanjh may have to wait longer, after the singer said that an earlier plan to perform in the state could not materialise because of concerns over crowd management.
During a live session, Dosanjh was asked when he planned to hold a concert in Bihar. Responding to the question, he said there had been an attempt to organise a show in the state, an initiative he had personally supported and pursued.
However, the plans were eventually dropped as organisers faced concerns over the expected turnout, with no one willing to take responsibility for managing the crowds, he said.
Dosanjh’s live performances attract large audiences, and demand for tickets to his concerts can be high. Managing such gatherings requires arrangements for crowd control, security, entry and exit, and parking.
The singer’s remarks suggest that concerns over handling a potentially large turnout were the primary obstacle to organising the proposed Bihar concert.

No new concert dates announced
Dosanjh has not announced any fresh plans or dates for a performance in Bihar. His comments do not indicate whether another attempt to organise a concert in the state is being considered.
For now, fans will have to wait for an official announcement, while the possibility of a concert will depend on organisers being able to put in place adequate arrangements for crowd management and public safety.
